Helping you out during the COVID-19 lockdown

As you know, from tomorrow parts of Namibia will be in lockdown. We applaud our government for taking this bold step and fully support the measures that have been implemented.

Whilst our office at Maerua Mall in Windhoek is closed to visitors until 20 April 2020, we remain available to assist you through our call centre. We will handle all emergencies, claims submissions and assist with existing client services and new business enquiries. In short – minimal disruption to you.

We are, however, working on a reduced staff complement, using remote connectivity where possible, and apologise should there be a lapse in the service you are accustomed to. Our people are working around the clock to minimise the impact on you.

We encourage you to download our app or register on the myOUTsurance client portal on our website. These give you convenient self-service solutions, such as:

  • Reporting a claim
  • Updating personal details
  • Requesting documents

Our contact centre working hours during this period are:

  • Monday to Friday – 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Our 24/7 Help@OUT emergency services remain available throughout.

Due to the lockdown, not all our service providers who serve you during claims time will be allowed to operate. Those who can assist will do so, but we encourage you to please submit any claims timeously so that we can allocate work to a provider to start as soon as they are able to.

During this time, we would like to encourage you and your families to practice the social distancing protocols that have been communicated. We are confident that if we all work together, we will overcome this pandemic before long.
