Because you’re insured with OUTsurance, you automatically get access to free Help@OUT emergency assistance service. If you’ve taken out insurance for your personal or business vehicles, we’ll provide you with free roadside assistance – and if you’ve insured your buildings or contents with us – we’ll throw in emergency home or office assistance, absolutely free of charge.
Simply call us on 061 306 083 and we’ll come to your assistance any time of the day or night!
If your vehicle breaks down, we’ll have it towed to the nearest repairer or place of safekeeping. If this incident occurs more than 50km from your home (or in the case of business insurance, more than 50km from your business premises) we’ll arrange alternative transport or pay N$400 towards hotel accommodation. On top of this – we’ll pay N$400 for the repatriation of the vehicle.
In addition, we’ll help with the recovery of your vehicle if it gets stuck in mud or if you run out of fuel.
Please note, however - that any costs relating to materials, parts, or any additional labour will be for your own account. Refer to the Help@OUT personal and business brochures for more detail on annual limits and the maximum number of incidents that apply to this free service.
*Please note that if you’re a business client and your business vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) is more than 3 500 kg, we will not be able to offer this service to you free of charge. However, this service is available to you at an additional premium, specific to each vehicle for which you require cover.
If you have either contents or buildings insurance in place, you’ll have access to our free Help@OUT Home or Office Assistance service. We’ll pay the call out fee as well as the first hour labour for any of the following services:
We’ll also pay for the first 12-hour shift for a security guard to secure your premises and if needed, we’ll also notify the police, ambulance or fire brigade services. In addition, we can refer you to a list of service providers who will be able to assist you with home or office appliance repairs or servicing.
An annual limit of N$5 000 or two incidents per noted address will apply to this free service. Please note that Help@OUT is still available to you - even if your annual limits are exceeded, but in this case - any costs incurred for the services rendered will be for your own account.
As is the case with the roadside assistance service, cost for additional labour and for materials will not be covered by our Help@OUT emergency service.

If needs be, you can also add medical and/or legal assistance to any of your existing insurance products. This medical and legal telephone advice line will be available to you, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The emergency medical assistance service will help you with referrals to medical doctors or facilities, as well as advice in case of trauma or medical emergencies. In addition, we’ll assist you with telephonic counseling and if needs be – three counseling sessions (face-to-face) per incident.
